Editorial Policy for all volumes

The Yearbook of Polar Law is open for submission by any who are interested in polar law and policy. Under the overall authority and responsibility of the Co-Editors-in-Chief, Special Guest Editor(s) and Book Review Editor are designated for each of its volumes. All research articles published in the Yearbook are through submission by the authors (not being invited) with rigorous peer-review according to the Guidelines. The Keynote lectures at the Polar Law Symposium are to be included in the Yearbook as full-fledged research articles, with the same rigorous peer-review. All book reviews published in the Yearbook are being invited by the Book Review Editor without peer-review.

The following is the general editorial policy set by the Co-Editors-in-Chief for all volumes, and the Special Guest Editors of a particular volume will determine other details within this general policy.
